I noticed a minor issue with the redesigned motor 2 housing. When this housing is screwed onto the motor one shaft, it sits crooked and not orthogonal as it should. This issue is exasperated as the screw is tightened.
I suspect the shaft hole in the housing printed on a slight slant, as shown in the exaggerated sketch below. Visually, however, the hole looks straight (but it’s difficult to tell).
In the original Solidworks file this hole is straight, so I think this is a print quality issue, not a design issue. The LIDAR mount has the same hole dimensions and does not have this issue. I intend to reprint the Motor 2 housing to hopefully alleviate this issue.
