I’m an engineer who enjoys tinkering and prototyping, especially with mechatronics (mechanics and electronics). In December 2020, I graduated from the University of Maryland with a Masters of Engineering in Robotics. In May 2019, I completed my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland. In mid 2020, I passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and am now a certified Engineer in Training in Maryland. I enjoy tinkering and prototyping, especially with mechatronics (mechanics and electronics).
This website chronicles some of the projects I’ve worked on as student here at UMD. Many of them were for classes but some were independent. I learned a tremendous amount through the realization of each of these projects, and wrote several of these write-ups as a learning resource to help others facing similar projects. These projects span a wide spectrum of engineering topics, including CAD (SolidWorks), 3D printing, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, image processing, MATLAB, Python, Open-CV, C, C++, circuits, robot modeling, robot simulation (V-REP), human factors considerations, sensors, actuation (servos, stepper motors, DC motors), and modular design. I’m quite proud of how all of these projects turned out.
