The skeletal motor mounts turned out pretty well.
There’s less material to hold the Azi motor to the tripod plate, and it takes very little force to tip it over.
I’ll have to reprint this with a more snug fit to make it grip better. I might put some material back along the bottom to give it more to grip with, but this isn’t needed for the strength of the part.
I did a brief test at ⅛ resolution. The motors still get very hot. I have to change something about how this is setup – the motors definitely are running far hotter than I think they should be under normal use.
